QUALIFICATIONS FOR HOT-SHOT DRIVERS
In order to qualify as a driver for Cheetah Transportation LLC
drivers must be able to comply with the following requirements:
Minimum age: 23 years
Must have a clear copy of front & back of drivers license & copy of Social Security card.
Must possess a valid Class A C.D.L.; if driver has a Class B C.D.L. then he/she must up-grade to a Class A C.D.L.
A minimum of 12 months experience OTR Interstate driving within the last three years.
Possess a Stable employment record.
Must provide all employment information for the previous 3 years and all driving employment information for the past 10 years including addresses, area codes and phone numbers.
Must consent to and pass a D.O.T. pre-employment drug test.
No positive pre-employment, random, or post accident drug screens.
Must pass and qualify for at least one year D.O.T. physical.
No active parole, felony convictions, or current warrants
Must be a United States citizen or have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must furnish current work permit or Visa (both front & back).
If during the annual review of MVR's and driving records, it is determined that a driver does not meet the above standards, he/she may be ineligible to drive for Greatwide Cheetah Transportation LLC.
All information on the application or resume must be true and correct. No falsification or misleading information will be allowed.
Past employment records will be considered on an individual basis.
Drivers will be disqualified for the following reasons:
They have any DWI, DUI, or Reckless driving on their driving record or any pending action because of a DWI, DUI, or Reckless driving within the past 5 years. No DWI or DUI convictions in a CMV.
They have been convicted of leaving a scene of an accident.
They have a felony, the commission of which involved the use of a commercial motor vehicle.
They have more than 1 speeding or minor violations during the past 12 months, and/or three such violations during the previous 3 years.
They have more than 1 serious violation (i.e. speeding 15 m.p.h. or over, following too close, reckless driving, etc.) in the previous 3 years.
They have more than 2 minor (less than $5,000 damage) chargeable accident during the previous 12 months, and/or 3 minor chargeable accidents during the previous 3 years.
They have more than 1 D.O.T. or major chargeable accident during the previous 3 years.
